Job Details:

• Location: Miles City, Montana


• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program, or graduation from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past six (6) months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam), or two (2) years of scrub tech experience in hospital or military surgical services within the last three (3) years. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.


• Preferred Qualifications: Active National Certification as an ORT in Surgery or Certified Surgical Technologist.


• Additional Information: The role involves maintaining sterilization standards, managing the sterile field, recognizing and addressing sharps and fire safety processes, assisting in surgical procedures, and supporting sterile processing and room turnover. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of surgical services, sterilization processes, environmental safety, and emergency response. Supervision within surgical services is part of the scope of the position.
