Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment, with an emphasis on ortho, general, robotics, urology, ENT, neuro, plastics, and GYN procedures. The position requires adaptability to varying shift schedules and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, beginning 09/21/2026 and ending 12/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Active and clear registered nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, experience in Operating Room settings, familiarity with EPIC, SurgiCount, and TECSYS systems preferred, previous travel experience preferred
- Specializations: OR experience in general surgery, robotics (DaVinci & Mako Orthopedic), urology, ENT, neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), GYN, ortho (total knee replacements, total hips anterior and posterior approach)
- Responsibilities: Assist in diverse surgical procedures, maintain sterile field, ensure patient safety, collaborate with surgical team, follow SOPs and hospital protocols
- Additional Information: No float rotation required, schedule includes call requirements on six weekdays and six weekends over a six-week period
