Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) registered nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility's surgical department in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves providing patient care in a surgical setting with a variety of procedures including Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Dental, Eyes, Pediatrics, Spine, Neuro, Trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci Robotics. The assignment offers flexible scheduling options across night shifts, with a focus on high-quality patient care and collaboration with staff and providers.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current acute care OR RN hospital experience of at least 1 year, BLS certification, ACLS certification, location in Wichita, Kansas or surrounding area, and minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an operating room setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedics, neurology, and vascular procedures, prior Meditech electronic medical record experience
• Additional Information: The unit has 28 beds and a staff skilled in diverse surgical procedures. Candidates with experience in DaVinci Robotics or specialized surgical procedures are highly encouraged to apply. The unit values strong patient care skills and effective communication. Flexibility in schedule with on-call responsibilities may be required, including late nights and weekend shifts.
