Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week minimum.


• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana or a compact license, BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required, ACLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required, at least 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty preferred, and educational requirements including a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in telemetry or step-down units.


• Additional Information: All newly hired experienced Registered Nurses must attend a new nurses orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Orientation includes precepting with designated trained staff and competency validation through onboarding and documentation. The position requires the ability to provide comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients with complex cardiac needs, demonstrating proficiency in medication administration, patient education, and emergency response.
