Job Summary:

A Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lewiston, Maine, within a 27-bed Pediatric and Medical-Surgical unit providing telemetry services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position involves providing care for a patient population that includes general medical-surgical patients, post-cardiac procedure patients, and those with cardiac stents or experiencing arrhythmias. The role requires working night shifts with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) with Cerner experience (PALS preferred)


• Certifications and Education Requirements: Active license, 2 years of RN experience, 3 years of telemetry experience, and familiarity with Cerner electronic health record. Float requirements include all units except M3, with assistance needed in Emergency Room.


• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable Hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitoring, and defibrillators for transport. The patient population includes general medical-surgical, pediatric, cardiac drips with titration, management of dysrhythmias, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
