Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Phoenix, AZ. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients within a hospital setting. Job Details
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Work Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current State of Arizona RN license or multistate privileges, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, PALS certification from the American Heart Association, two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. Experience: 2 years experience as an RN in PICU; experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU is strongly preferred; experience floating to Cardiac and Ventricular Intensive Care Units.
- Additional Information: This assignment may float between four campuses; specific shift timing will be decided during the interview. Only RTO discussed in the interview will be pre-approved. This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients' age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards.
