Job Summary:

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Units, located in Omaha, Nebraska. The position involves providing care in a 28-bed unit focusing on oncology and trauma patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working 12-hour shifts starting from June 8, 2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska


• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with the following times: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.


• Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours


• Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license at submission, at least 2 years of experience as an RN, certifications including ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association), and ability to work with EPIC electronic medical record system within the last 6 months.


• Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification preferred, experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000), ICP management, and titration of drips such as insulin and Cardizem.
