Job Details

- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alaska; BLS and PALS certifications upon hire; ACLS certification within 6 months of employment; Flu vaccination
- Preferred Qualifications: One-year clinical nurse experience; prior experience in emergency nursing preferred
- Additional Information: This position is available only to travelers residing at least 50 miles from the facility. The role offers an all-inclusive rate, with no housing or flights provided.
- Position Description: The clinical nurse coordinates and performs a variety of nursing care procedures for patients of all ages, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse must recognize emergent symptoms, operate medical equipment, provide guidance to team members, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Certifications and Vaccinations: Must have BLS and PALS upon hire; ACLS within 6 months; flu vaccination.
