Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN Location: Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing specialized cardiac care within a tertiary facility known for clinical excellence. The position requires adaptable shifts including days, nights, and mids, with the ability to start within 7-10 days.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for delivering high-quality cardiac care, including post-cardiac catheterization, pacemaker management, and other complex cardiac patient treatments.
• Required Qualifications:
  RN licensure, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac setting, ability to work all shift times including days, nights, and mids, and willingness to work rotating shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience with post-op cardiac catheterization, pacemaker management, TAVR, and open heart recovery.
• Schedule:
  12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with rotating days, nights, and mids.
• Additional Information:
  Candidates must have completed and cleared state and federal fingerprinting, Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI background checks prior to start. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:5 for RNs and varies for nursing assistants depending on shift. The role involves working with equipment such as pacers and arterial lines, with a focus on cardiac and geriatric patient populations. Requires a positive attitude and compliance with dress code policies.
