Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in Billings, Montana. This role involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions within a healthcare facility. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while promoting health education and therapy support to enhance patient well-being. Job Details Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Evaluate health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Perform health teaching and health counseling. Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others. Execute delegated medical functions. Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans. Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Use resources as needed. Promote mission, vision, and values of the organization, and abide by service behavior standards. Perform other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and experience requirement: 0 years. Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Specialty: Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for unit or service. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
