Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in a pediatric hospital setting. The role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients within a 13-week assignment, with a focus on working day shifts. The position offers the opportunity to support neonatal patients from birth through 18 years of age, with flexibility for float assignments within the clinical competence of the nurse.
Job Details:
- Location: The healthcare provider is seeking a NICU RN for an assignment in a pediatric hospital setting.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, BSN degree, at least 2 years of Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience, current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Comfort working with patients from birth through 18 years of age, Pediatric/PICU experience.
- Float: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other pediatric care areas within their clinical competence and within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment, including Pediatric Medical/Surgical and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
- Schedule Details: Assignment runs from 09/22/2026 to 12/26/2026.
- Additional Information: No requested time off within the first two weeks of the assignment. Candidate must be available to work all holidays. Medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
