Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse (RN) position available in a general medical facility located in Plano. The role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a 41-bed NICU environment, working primarily night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The assignment offers an opportunity to collaborate with a team skilled in respiratory support, micro-premie care, and various neonatal procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details

- Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, NICU Level II-III experience, valid RN licensure, flexible to work in nursery and floating areas
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level III-IV NICU, proficiency with advanced respiratory support and neonatal procedures
- Additional Information: The NICU utilizes equipment such as high-flow ventilators, central lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and Ostomy care. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, with a dress code requiring royal blue scrubs. No on-call duties are included; weekend shifts are scheduled regularly.
