Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) located in the region, this role involves providing patient care within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The position requires a clinical professional with experience in medical surgical units and telemetry, supporting various units across the healthcare providers facilities.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and previous travel experience are required.
- Additional Information: Role responsible for patient care in a MedSurg/Telemetry unit, including tasks such as troubleshooting respiratory equipment, interpreting tele monitors, and managing patient needs for diagnoses including postoperative, orthopedic, neurological, satellite tele, medical, and oncology cases. The position involves working on various units with shared leadership and assistance available 24/7.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardizem, amio, nitro, heparin, insulin, and other titratable drips.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
