Job Summary:

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Neurological Nurse Educator position is based in Bozeman, Montana. This role involves developing and implementing educational and professional development programs for healthcare professionals within the organization. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position demands regular attendance and may include working beyond standard hours, including weekends and after-hours shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Bozeman, MT


• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing; Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse); minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience and/or equivalent health teaching experience; minimum of 1 year of education/training in administrative, management, and leadership principles and practices; 1 year of experience as a clinical nurse educator or staff development role


• Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Nursing; instructor certification in any discipline of American Heart Association (AHA); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); S.T.A.B.L.E.; TeamSTEPPS; certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or area of specialty


• Essential Job Functions: Develops, organizes, promotes, implements, evaluates, and revises nursing professional development activities; serves as a nurse planner for approved provider continuing nursing education; promotes evidence-based practice; manages and supports educational tools and resources


• Additional Information: Facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances. Candidates must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility.
