Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing patient care on a unit that cares for cardiac and general medical-surgical patients, including those with cardiac conditions requiring telemetry monitoring. The position requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment with a focus on acute patient needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with scheduled weekends every other week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, ACLS certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cardiac and telemetry environment preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to related units.
- Additional Information: The unit operates 24/7 with a charge nurse available on nights. CNAs are utilized with a ratio of approximately 1 CNA for every 12 patients. RTs manage respiratory equipment such as CPAP and BiPAP. Telemetry monitors are Phillips brand, and RNs must be able to read and interpret strip data. Shifts start on 09/28/2026 and conclude on 12/28/2026, with orientation provided prior to assignment.
