TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

MedSurg/Tele Float Pool - BLS & ACLS are Required- 2 years experience Required - Will float between all medsurg/tele units at UHC (See below)
Ratios around 1:5/6 - Common Diagnosis: CHF, Cardiac cath, CP, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho, & Oncology (perm staff will administer chemo) - All travelers must take & pass a cardiac rhythm exam. They feel that an RN with ACLS should easily be able to pass this. - Float Pool RN's will report to the clinical coordinator's office prior to shift start time for unit assignment. RN's could float to all 6 units but will most likely be assigned a 'parent unit' & will only be assigned very basic telemetry patients, within their scope of practice. They must be able to read & interpret strips but will not have to titrate drips.
