Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN Day Shift, 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026. This position involves floating between units within a short-term acute care facility that is a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The role requires caring for neurology patients and other neurology diagnoses, with a focus on post-surgical care and NIH scale proficiency.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Education Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Neuro Experience RN, comfortable with NIH scale, proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required qualifications include experience with neuro patient care, charting in Epic, and the ability to float between units as needed.
- Candidates must have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), craniotomy, CVA, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neuro stepdown, pre/post neurosurgery, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury, telemetry, and traumatic brain injury care.
- The role involves working two weekends, with pre-approved schedule flexibility for holidays and specific time-off requests during the application process.
- Candidates must include two references covering one year during the last three years and respond to specific screening questions regarding previous employment at a similar facility.
- Candidates should be prepared for rapid onboarding with modules completed pre-start and during orientation in Workramp.
