This role requires assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients across all age groups, with a focus on orthopedic, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy procedures. The position involves regularly scheduled shifts and call coverage to ensure comprehensive patient care. Job Details Position Description: Responsible for the practice of professional nursing which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients of all age groups (pediatric through geriatric). The PeriOperative Services Registered Nurse is trained to advocate for and care for the patient during the peri-operative period (admission through discharge from PeriOperative Services). Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Shift Time: Days Shift Hours: 8 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license applicable to the state, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in peri-operative nursing. Preferred Qualifications: Experienced in orthopedic, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy procedures. Schedule: Shift work during days with a 8-hour shift and minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: This position includes regularly scheduled shifts and call coverage, with responsibilities centered on peri-operative patient advocacy and care.
