This role involves providing patient care to adults and geriatrics with diverse diagnoses, including stroke, neurological diseases, and critical illness, in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and organization to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week, from 11/16/2026 to 02/15/2027.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, active license to submit, and the ability to pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with at least 90% to pass.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility, cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated organization, and should have strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be submitted upfront with up to 7 days or less per 13-week contract.
- Responsibilities: Providing nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as stroke, SCI, amputee, BI, neurological diseases like MS and Parkinsons, among others. Administering antibiotics, anticoagulants, and antiplatelets; working with a charge nurse; supporting patient care techs and nurse aides; and adhering to policies, including no artificial nails and license requirements. Candidates will float to Medical Surgical units as needed and receive classroom plus 2 days of unit-specific orientation.
