Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, and providing high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical skills within the scope of professional nursing practice.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift with a duration of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or abide by compact licensure requirements. BLS certification is required. Relevant experience includes a minimum of one year working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher. Professional certification related to maternal and newborn care is preferred.
• Additional Information: Provides direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessments and interventions. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and revise care plans. Documents care and patient responses in accordance with policy and standards. Participates in quality improvement activities and may mentor or orient new staff.
