Job Summary:
The ICU registered nurse position is based in Santa Rosa, California. The role involves providing critical care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The assignment is for 26 weeks starting on August 24, 2026, and offers opportunities to work night shifts in a dynamic acute care environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Santa Rosa, California
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license, 2 years of experience, certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in trauma or neuro intensive care units, Epic charting system experience, recent charge nurse experience
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals approximately 16-20 miles away
- Additional Information:
- RTO restrictions must be included at the time of submission
- Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities
- References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) required during the compliance process
- Must have a valid California license in hand
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted
- Traveler will need to complete required modules, averaging 16 hours, with full completion documented in Workramp transcripts
