This travel opportunity is for night shifts, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Job Details:
- Location: The healthcare provider is seeking qualified RNs for a 12-week assignment starting from 08/24/2026 through 11/23/2026.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing licensure, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience; Colorado, Kansas, or other state nursing licensure required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records, large facility ICU units, and advanced procedures such as balloon pump management, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, cardioversion, and central line care.
- Additional Information: The ICU unit has 26 beds with a staff of 15, including RNs, charge nurses, and patient care technicians. Typical procedures include heart caths, medication drips, and use of specialized equipment like balloon pumps and CRRT. The unit employs a driven, organized, and positive team with modern equipment and technology, providing an engaging environment for experienced ICU nurses.
