Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Bagley, Minnesota. This position involves providing critical nursing care in an emergency setting, with responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient responses within a Critical Access Hospital. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and float to other units as needed, supporting the ongoing continuum of care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, potential for night or day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates may work alone or with team coverage, including weekends on a rotating basis.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) experience, Emergency Room (ER) trained, ability to work both Medical Surgical and ER units, experience working in a Critical Access Hospital, willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and float to other units. Valid Minnesota RN license required, BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory, PALS certification preferred, TNCC or CALS for Emergency Department (ED) preferred. Active Minnesota State RN license and SNSA registration required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital, prior Emergency Room experience, and additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or CALS.
- Additional Information: The registered nurse will utilize EPIC charting system and Omnicell medication dispensers. The unit features 14 beds/rooms. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility, with Navy Blue scrub attire. Candidates must note if they have previously worked at this facility; if so, their last employment must have ended at least 6 months prior to submission.
- Shift Information: The position involves 12-hour shifts, with potential for call and weekend coverage in rotation with staff. Shift times may include nights from 1900 to 0730 or days from 0700 to 1930, depending on staffing needs.
