Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in Dover, New Hampshire. This assignment involves working in a fast-paced emergency department environment with a focus on providing critical patient care. The role requires adherence to established clinical protocols and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a hospital setting, possess an active compact license, and hold current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a free-standing emergency department environment, certifications such as Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN), or Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) are highly desirable
- Unit Information:
- Number of beds: 11
- Staff: 16 RNs and 1 RN per shift on days, mid, and night shifts
- Patient ratios: Varies
- EMR system: Meditech
- Unit Description: Full-service emergency department providing urgent care for diverse patient needs
- Personality Fit: Independent, autonomous, critical thinker, adaptable, with strong clinical and relational attributes supporting an excellent patient care experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Attire: Navy blue scrubs
- Weekends and On-call: Every other weekend with no on-call requirement
