Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Medford, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room Nurse, located in a healthcare facility, is responsible for providing critical emergency nursing care during night shifts. This role involves working in an 8-bed emergency department with potential for flowing into clinical exam rooms, requiring experienced nursing professionals to manage patient needs efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Required Qualifications: WI or compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; minimum of 3 years of emergency room experience; location requirements: must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Medford Hospital; schedule includes 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree. Responsibilities: Provide urgent and emergent care to patients in the emergency department; manage up to a 1:5 patient ratio depending on acuity; float to Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Langlade, and Stanley facilities as needed; maintain compliance with PPE guidelines; utilize Epic charting system preferred but not required.
