Job Summary:

Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Hickory, North Carolina. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a patient population ranging from birth to death. The role requires energetic and knowledgeable healthcare professionals capable of managing diverse trauma cases, strokes, STEMI, and other urgent conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: RN license with at least 2 years of experience, Cerner electronic health record (EHR) experience, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and NIHSS certifications are required


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department, especially with strokes, STEMI, and trauma cases


• Float: Helping hands in areas where competence is demonstrated


• Additional Information: The unit has 32 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5, critical care equipment, and serves a patient population from birth to death. Candidates must have good patient experience skills, critical care thinking, and stamina. Scrub attire can be any color, with no unacceptable clothing such as hoodies or inappropriate T-shirts.
