Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in Michigan. This role involves providing immediate and specialized care to patients presenting with serious medical conditions in a fast-paced emergency environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during the night shift, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and emergency procedures. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The position runs from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027. Required Qualifications: Active state licensure in Michigan; certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. No minimum years of experience is required, but a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling a high volume of emergency cases, strong critical thinking skills, and prior experience with trauma or pediatric emergencies. Additional Information: The RN will handle symptoms indicating stroke, heart attack, seizures, severe injuries, deep bleeding, burns, or abdominal pain. Response to emergency scenarios, quick decision-making, and compliance with hospital protocols are essential.
