Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing high-acuity neonatal patients, including procedures such as PICC and UVC placement, intubation, and handling ventilator management. Job Details Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week Certifications & Education: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required; relevant nursing degree and NICU experience preferred Required Qualifications: Experience in Level III NICU; proficiency with BCPAP, HFNC, NC management; PIV insertion and management; must have current certifications in BLS and NRP Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of ventilator management, UAC/UVC, and PICC management preferred; able to attend deliveries Responsibilities include managing patient care in a NICU environment, performing procedures such as PICC placement, UVC/UAC placement, intubation, lumbar punctures, lab draws, and monitoring neonatal vital signs.
