Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in the healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care environment, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care coordination, education, and documentation. The role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety and well-being. Job Details Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions across all phases of preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Functions within the scope and standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies. Certifications/Education: Valid nursing license; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE). Schedule: Straight Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS and BLS certification, 2 years of clinical experience, experience with electronic charting systems, and ability to float within similar units within the facility. Additional Information: Must badge in and out at the facility. Adheres to legal regulations and organizational policies regarding patient information. Collaborates with healthcare team to promote a safe environment and optimal patient outcomes. May float to equivalent Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility. Submission Requirements: Willingness to wait for license submission; BSN not required.
