This position involves providing specialized inpatient nursing care on a 41-bed hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care unit within a Magnet-designated facility. The role offers opportunities to work with complex patient cases, including those undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants, while utilizing evidence-based therapies and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Job Details Certifications: BLS, Chemo (Oncology Nursing Society/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation), RN license required Education Requirements: Not specified Location Requirements: Not specified Years of Experience: Minimum 0 years, with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in the specialty within the last 3 years required for inpatient RN travelers. Schedule: Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1930, every other weekend, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, Epic charting system experience, recent experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT or level 1 trauma hospital Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, trauma level I or II experience, travel experience Additional Information: The nurse will assist with chemotherapy administration, stem cell transplants, blood product transfusions, central line care, patient assessments, and participate in cutting-edge therapies and research. Strict pass/fail telemetry testing with adult and pediatric exams is required prior to start, with two attempts allowed. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
