Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Oncology RN) Night Shift Alaska This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a Magnet-designated facility, specializing in medical-surgical and oncology units. The role requires a proactive professional capable of managing complex patient needs, with some experience in chemotherapy administration preferred. Job Details Location: Alaska Position Description: MS/Oncology RN license pending approval. Must be able to complete Alaska RN license application within 48 hours of signing, including submitting FPs, application fee, and license application. An active Alaska RN license is required for Auto Offer. Shift: Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 hours per shift, with guaranteed minimum hours of 36 per week. Years of Experience: At least 1 year. Certifications required: BLS. Skills Required: Med/Surg, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, isolation precautions/PPE. Additional Qualifications: Open to first-time travelers, with a preference for oncology experience and chemo administration familiarity. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Required Experience: 1 year in relevant clinical settings. Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care in adult and geriatric populations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adhere to unit protocols. Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a valid license in hand for auto-offer, and references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
