Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Nights 36 hours per week. Located in an acute care setting, this position involves providing individualized nursing care with a focus on patient assessment, education, and coordination. The role requires collaboration with inter-professional team members to deliver comprehensive care across the patient continuum, adhering to established standards and regulations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Straight nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association; active RN license in SD or a compact state; one year of recent experience as a registered nurse; willingness to float to any medical-surgical or telemetry unit within scope of practice; ability to work every other weekend and holiday; must badge in and out at the facility; Navy Blue scrubs; note if previously employed by the organization with at least 6 months since last employment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma level 1 care setting.
• Additional Information: The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio typically ranging from 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights. Clinicians must be able to take time off if needed and note this in the comments section during submission. The candidate may be required to float within designated units based on clinical needs.
