Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves caring for patients in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment with a focus on drip management, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring. The nurse will provide comprehensive care in an acute care setting and must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Wyoming nursing license, BLS Certification, NIHSS certification, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing


• Preferred Qualifications: Prior telemetry reading experience, experience caring for COVID-19 patients, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high turnover


• Float: RNs may float to Medical, Medical Oncology, and Telemetry units, which run cardiac drips


• Additional Information: Nurses are provided with phones and trackers. Unit-specific orientation consists of 2-3 shifts during the first week. Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients. The unit is a Magnet facility with stroke and bariatric certifications. Overtime may be available and opportunities to precept.
