Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Berlin, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. The RN will be responsible for managing and coordinating nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role involves utilizing the Nursing Process assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver safe, effective, and individualized patient care across various age groups and diagnoses. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including weekends. The position requires a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state; Associate's degree in nursing; BLS (AHA) certification; Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute inpatient nursing, including medical-surgical nursing and telemetry. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care nursing preferred; strong assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team; experience with the Epic electronic medical record system. Additional Information: The RN may be required to float to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide care for appropriate overflow patients, based on patient needs and staffing requirements. The facility does not require a strict uniform, but staff are expected to wear professional, clean, and appropriate scrub attire. Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training; up to 12 hours of cancellation notice is permitted during the 13-week assignment. This position begins on 09/21/2026 and ends on 12/21/2026.
