Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves providing patient care on a unit dedicated to orthopedic, neurological, and general medical-surgical patients. The position requires experience with electronic health record systems and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Qualifications: Valid license, BLS (American Heart Association), minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting, EPIC electronic health record experience required, minimal experience requirement: 0 years.


• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 through 01/11/2027.


• Responsibilities: Care for orthopedics, neuro, and general medical-surgical patients, manage IV fluids and PCA pumps, perform vital signs and patient assessments, collaborate with PCTs and RTs, and adhere to safety and documentation protocols.


• Additional information: Unit ratios are 1:6 with private rooms, and floating to other MedSurg units may be required to meet staffing needs. Orientation includes 1 day of EPIC training plus on-floor preceptor orientation.
