Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Nurse - Wichita, Kansas. This position involves providing advanced patient care on a 38-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit with telemetry and remote monitoring. The role includes starting IVs, assisting with blood specimen collection, and supporting clinical operations in a fast-paced hospital setting. The shift schedule is during night hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license, driver's license or state ID, an Ascension profile, two professional references, and current license/certificate verification. No prior experience is required.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Medical Surgical or cardiovascular setting is beneficial.


• Additional Information: The unit features blood specimen collection, IV start support from RNs, and remote telemetry monitoring. Staff wear blue scrubs and utilize Cerner OneChart for documentation.
