Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse for the organizations inpatient unit. This position entails providing high-quality patient care across diverse medical-surgical cases within a healthcare facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units as needed, working days shifts with a typical schedule of 12-hour shifts, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  1st timer MS RN position, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience. The role involves floating between units, with work scheduled on days for approximately 12 hours, totaling at least 36 hours weekly. The assignment is from 11/16/2026 to 03/08/2027.

• Required Qualifications:
  Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 2 years of clinical experience, current BLS certification, experience in Med/Surg unit, and proficiency with Epic charting system.

• Preferred Qualifications:
  Prior experience with cerebrovascular accident (CVA), isolation precautions, nasal cannula use, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, neurosurgery, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, rapid response / code team activation, and familiarity with trauma level II units.

• Schedule:
  Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Additional Information:
  Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience, be willing to float between units, and be available for a shift schedule that includes working three of the five major holidays. References: two from the past three years covering at least one year of employment.
