This 13-week assignment involves working nights in a 22-bed IMC unit with patient ratios of 1:4/5 on days and 1:5/6 on nights. The role requires managing complex medical patients, including those with conditions such as ETOH, CVA, and Sepsis, and performing wound care, IV starts, neuro assessments, and other related duties. Candidates will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Job Details Location: Duluth, MN Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/31/2026 Required Qualifications: Minnesota RN license, BLS (AHA/ARC), ACLS (AHA/ARC), NIH Stroke Scale certification, at least 1 year of IMC experience, Associate Degree or Certificate, flexible to work holidays as assigned Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, with on-call and holiday requirements as specified; on-call may involve minimal census and call-back of at least 2 hours Float Requirements: Inpatient units Preferred Qualifications: Experience in colder climates (Midwest, Northeast, Mountain regions) during winter start dates to ensure reliability during weather events Additional Information: The unit is a 22-bed IMC specializing in complex medical care. Patients include those with ETOH, CVA, Sepsis, and wound care needs.
