Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Manchester, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at an unspecified healthcare organization. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a critical care setting, supporting both ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Units, with floating between units based on census and operational needs. Job Details: Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week Start Date: 09/08/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Required Qualifications: Certified as a Basic Life Support (BLS) provider by the American Heart Association (AHA), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse, and willingness to float between ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Units. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting ICU and Step-Down units preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The facility currently utilizes Meditech as the electronic medical record (EMR) system, with a transition to Epic scheduled for June 2026. Time off will be limited during the assignment and must be pre-approved at time of submission. Only qualified candidates should be submitted.
