Job Summary:

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized care in the cardiac cath lab environment, supporting complex procedures, and floating across various campuses as needed. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with an emphasis on experienced professionals who are adaptable and ready to contribute to a dynamic cardiac care team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/Coronary Catheterization Laboratory experience; Iowa state license or multi-state compact license; specific skills checklist aligned with the Cardiac Cath Lab discipline; active BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certification; drivers license; minimum of 24 months recent relevant work history; professional references from within the past 24 months


• Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart experience; electrophysiology (EP) experience; travel experience; scrubbing experience; circulating monitoring experience; precepting as needed


• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to similar units, work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed, and participate in orientation scheduled for 07/27 and 08/03. The position involves call responsibilities with a 1.5x multiplier and call minimum of 2 hours, and on-call duties at $9/hr. Call schedule includes one night per week and every third weekend, from 7:30 pm Friday through 7:00 am Monday.
