What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) position at Cross Country Locums?
- Work Dates Needed: one day to two days a week visit per site | Three sites in CA
- Preferred Schedule: M-F 6:30am-2:30pm Weekday Only
- Worksite Setting: Outpatient - Skilled Nursing Facility Setting
- Scope of Work: Must have wound care experience, Treating Adults Only. Provider will work in SNF and participate in weekly bedside wound rounds with the treatment nurse to evaluate and manage all acute and chronic wounds, surgical wounds, and dermatologic wounds, change dressings, perform medically necessary debridement, replace or remove G-tubes (will train), establish plan of care and work within facility protocol. *See attachments for additional job description duties and responsibilities.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: CA License, DEA, must have experience performing wound debridement procedures. Must be personable. Client is prioritizing candidates that are local.
- EMR: Will use the company's iPad mini to take photos |will be writing a shorthand note at bedside and send to transcription dept to complete chart.
- Pay Rate Preferred: $105-$110.
