Assistant Nurse Manager – Respiratory Care Unit (RCU)
M-F; 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Range: $47.50–$68.42/hr;
Requirements to apply
- Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Charge nurse or preceptor experience required
- Experience with chronic disease and complex patient populations
- BSN preferred

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to support daily operations across two Respiratory Care Units (12-bed and 36-bed). This role partners closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and staff development while ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care. The ANM serves as a clinical and operational leader during evening shifts, providing guidance to staff, supporting ventilator-dependent and chronic care populations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
