URGENT: Now Hiring: High School SPED Teacher (Self-Contained Classroom)

We’re actively seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a structured, self-contained classroom setting for the upcoming school year.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll lead a classroom of approximately 15 students, supported by a team of 4 paraeducators, delivering meaningful, individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.

Students spend part of their day in a self-contained setting for core academics and also have opportunities to participate in general education classes—creating a well-rounded and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core academic subjects using adapted curriculum and accommodations

• Implement functional academic and life skills instruction

• Support development of daily living, social, leisure, and pre-vocational skills

• Utilize Unique Learning System (N2Y) curriculum for standards-based instruction and progress tracking

• Collaborate with support staff and service providers

• Maintain IEP compliance and documentation

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:25 AM – 3:15 PM (1 prep period included)
