Position Overview:
- Deliver specialized pull-out and/or push-in academic instruction in a Resource Classroom setting for students across Grades 4-8, utilizing small-group and individualized learning models.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and positive behavior support plans, making evidence-based adjustments to accurately reflect student goals and progress.
- Consult regularly with general education staff and parents to support curriculum differentiation and the integration of specialized instructional carryover strategies.
- Maintain accurate data collection records on progress toward IEP goals and complete quarterly reports for parents and the IEP team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Valid Arizona Special Education Credential for the applicable grade levels (Required)
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Prior experience delivering specialized instruction in a Resource Room or similar inclusion setting, preferably with intermediate/middle school students (Grades 4-8)
