Position Overview:
- Assist students with special education needs by supporting classroom instruction, individualized learning goals, and inclusion activities.
- Partner with teachers and support staff to prepare materials, reinforce lessons, and promote a positive learning environment.
- Support students with daily living activities, including personal care, mealtime support, and mobility, as needed.
- Adapt and provide flexible support across various classrooms and programs based on student and school needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one of the following:
- Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
- Associate's degree
- 60 college credit hours
- Active CPR/First Aid Certification
- Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience supporting children with special needs (behavioral or autism support preferred)
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
