Position Overview:
- Conduct comprehensive multi-site evaluations for high school students across the district, specifically assessing functional skills related to daily living, academics, and vocational participation.
- Partner with the Individual Education Program (IEP) team to develop and implement annual IEPs and complete required student evaluations.
- Develop and manage the full occupational therapy services schedule, providing direct treatment, consultation, and effective supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Provide environmental and technological accommodations, including the adaptation of materials/equipment and training parents and school staff for consistent support.
Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist License
- Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back)
- College Diploma or Transcripts
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of occupational therapy.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Sensory Integration Certification preferred.
