Job Summary: X-Ray Technologist (Xray Technologist) Cedar Rapids, Iowa
The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging services within a healthcare facility while maintaining current/recent operating room competency, as applicable to the position. The role requires an Active Iowa radiology license (or an eligible path to licensure) and an ARRT certificate, along with Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certificate; Basic Life Support (BLS); Active Iowa (IA) license/IDPH State Permit (highly preferred); professional reference or reference check (charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of todays date); Drivers License; license must be brought on the first day; X-ray experience: at least 15 months of X-ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting (with 24 months of current X-ray experience required per the submission requirements)
- Preferred Qualifications: IA radiology license (highly preferred); AHA/BLS from American Heart Association (or ARC/American Red Cross equivalent BLS); current/recent fluoroscopy (fluoro) experience (fluoro experience preferred); operating room competency/experience (current/recent operating room competency/experience is required); experience with Phillips equipment (Phillips equipment preferred); experience with Carestream portables (Carestream portables preferred); experience with Siemens Cysto (Siemens Cysto equipment highly preferred); experience with GE OEC c-arm equipment (GE OEC c-arm equipment experience required; also noted as preferred in the skills list)
- Additional Information: 1st time travelers welcome; fluoro experience is preferred; orientation dates are 07/13/2026 and 07/20/2026; weekend rotation call schedule is required
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
