Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This position involves performing all aspects of general ultrasound imaging across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires proficiency in various ultrasound modalities and the ability to float between multiple sites as needed, supporting clinical departments with diverse patient populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Radiologic Technologist with ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS); valid drivers license matching applicants demographics; current seasonal influenza vaccination.
- Preferred Qualifications: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, especially with EPIC.
- Additional Information: The ultrasound technologist should be very comfortable with general ultrasound procedures including small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), obstetrics and gynecology (fetal surveys, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), and some pediatric imaging (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception). Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient ultrasound in radiology departments, covering multiple sites (Cambridge, Somerville, Everett); candidate must be agreeable to floating across all locations. Submission must include an up-to-date resume with 3 years of experience in the specialty, two recent manager/supervisor references in the specialty, a skills checklist matching the specialty, and drivers licenses with address verification. RTO requests should be included at the time of submission; availability cannot be guaranteed after confirmation.
