American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with prior travel experience and broad proficiency across general, vascular, OB/GYN, and pediatric ultrasound for a 12-hour night shift role at an inpatient/outpatient radiology department.
Details- Inpatient and outpatient ultrasound within a hospital radiology department
- Patient population spans all ages, including pediatric and OB/GYN patients
- Procedures include general ultrasound, small parts, vascular (upper and lower extremity venous), OB/GYN (fetal survey, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), and pediatric studies (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception)
- 12-hour night shifts, 2 shifts per week
- Required to float across three facility sites: Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett
- Epic EMR experience required
- Schedule varies — initial weeks cover vacation coverage shifts, transitioning to a recurring Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday night schedule starting late in the contract
- Current AHA BLS and ARDMS RDMS required
- Minimum of 3 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
- Prior travel experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
- Proficiency in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular, OB/GYN, and pediatric ultrasound required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 recent supervisor or manager references in a matching specialty required for consideration
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- License required if applicable
- Performs all department tasks within the ultrasound/radiology unit
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
- RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 5 days; requests will not be considered after confirmation
- Block scheduling is not allowed
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a local pay rate
- Candidates must be fully agreeable to the variable schedule and multi-site float requirement prior to consideration
