Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Western Arizona. This inpatient occupational therapy position involves facilitating the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients, focusing on maximizing their functional status during hospitalization. The role includes evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs, participating in discharge planning, and performing administrative duties to support clinical and operational goals.

Job Details

• Position Description: The occupational therapist evaluates and develops treatment plans for hospitalized patients, contributes to discharge planning, performs administrative tasks, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and pursues ongoing professional growth.


• Required Qualifications: BS in Occupational Therapy or higher, Arizona licensure, one year of experience, or proven ability to perform independently, and valid AZ license.


• Schedule: Days, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Additional Information: Caseload typically includes 6 to 8 patients daily. Documentation is performed using ReDoc for outpatient and MedHost for inpatient settings. Candidates must be available to start as soon as possible, with contract duration approximately 13 weeks.
